Counselling
Counselling provides a confidential setting in which to talk things through with someone who is trained and experienced in listening. Counsellors offer support rather than advice, believing that people have it within themselves to discover ways of living that are more satisfying for them.
'A Talking Therapy' - people seek counselling for lots of different reasons. These may include: relationship difficulties, bereavement, anxiety, stress, depression, low self esteem, loss of interest, recurring illness fatigue, eating disorders, addictions.
It is usual for counselling sessions to take place once a week for up to an hour. To arrange an initial appointment please telephone the practice or ring one of the counsellors.
